SpellDown was created to help my 2nd grader learn his weekly spelling lists. We tried several dedicated spelling devices, but either there were too expensive or didn't work well.

SpellDown allows you to create your own spelling lists. You type in the correct spelling and record your voice saying the word. You can also download a synthesized voice pronouncing the word.

Version 2.0 allows you to play a simple spelling bee with any list you create. Each time a spelling bee is played, a report is created that can be viewed by suspecting parents.
